### Who owns the code?

You do, entirely. You receive the complete source code along with all exclusive rights of use, unlimited in time and territory: use it, change it, extend it, sell it, hand it to any other team. Without asking us and without license fees.

Under German law, copyright itself cannot be transferred; it formally stays with the developer. In practice that changes nothing: the unrestricted rights of use let you do anything with the code as if you owned 100% of it.

### How long does development take?

When questions and feedback come back quickly, it is possible to go from first call to first production version in under 30 days.

Depending on scope, development usually takes 40 to 80 days.

### What does it cost to build software?

Expect costs between €10,000 and €75,000. We calculate based on effort.

Small apps and websites can run for under €100 per month. Larger, more complex systems average €500 to €2,500 per month.

### What is an MVP?

MVP stands for minimum viable product. It is the version of a product that delivers the most value with the fewest features — the sweet spot between effort and value.

Less is more: according to a [study by Pendo](https://www.pendo.io/resources/the-2019-feature-adoption-report/), 80% of features are rarely or never used, and 12% of features drive 80% of daily usage.

### What is the difference between an MVP and a prototype?

A prototype shows how a product feels. You can click through it, but there is usually no real data or functionality behind it. It answers what the product looks like and how you use it. An MVP actually works, with real users and real workflows, and shows whether an idea survives contact with customers.

### What if I run into problems?

Operations and support are included in the price for the first three months. If something breaks, one short message is enough and we take care of it. After that you either continue on your own or we stay your partner.
